Sunday Puja in Marin and PPI

Group practice is an important part of any individual's spiritual path, and His Eminence Chagdud Rinpoche always strongly requested that sangha members make the effort to practise together, not only on the special tsog days to fulfil certain commitments, but also on a regular ongoing basis. It is traditionally said that the benefits and blessings of group practice far outweigh the sum of the assembled people's individual efforts, and are an opportunity for sangha members to learn from and support each other, an offering to the lama and the Three Jewels.

Recognising that for most people it is not easy to travel often to the Institute for puja, and because we do not currently have a more urban Ati Ling center, Jigme Rinpoche has requested sangha members to meet for Sunday puja at least monthly, at PPI or at the Marin home of Lisa Iacovelli. The Marin practice will take place every fourth Sunday of the month, and a puja followed by potluck lunch every second Sunday of the month at PPI. Both will begin at 9.30am.

(Note that these additional puja arrangements do not affect daily and Sunday puja at PPI, which continue as normal.)

NOTE: Sunday puja for October 2007 will NOT take place in Novato on October 28th, but at PPI, with Jigme Rinpoche.
